Principles of Arts, Audio/Video Technology, and Communications

The students will work on Ch. 6 “Audio/Video Production”. In Lesson 18, the students will learn to explore nonlinear editing in Premiere Pro; define the Standard Digital Video workflow; tour the Premiere Pro workspace; customize the workspace; explore preferences; move, back up, and synch user settings; video editing platforms, and solve problems. In Lesson 19, the students will learn to explore script production, format a script, take quality video, capture video for editing in Premiere Pro, compose for meaning, and protect copyright.

In Lesson 16, the students will be learning to import Illustrator files, use Adobe Illustrator with Animate, identify Symbols, create Symbols, import Photoshop files, edit a Photoshop file from Animate, edit and manage Symbols, change the size and position of Instances, change the Color Effect of Instances, use display options, use Blending Effects, export as Bitmap, apply filters for Special Effects, position in 3D space, and learn about the history of animation.  In Lesson 17, the students will be learning to examine animation in Animate, animate position, use Controller to Preview the animation, change the Pacing and Timing, animate transparency, understand Property Keyframes, animate Filters, animate transformations, change the path of motion, swap Tween Targets, create Nested Animation, create frame-by-frame animation, animate 3D Motion, test a movie, generate PNG sequences and Sprite sheets, academic planning, and how to meet career goals.

In Lesson 14, the students will be learning to create a new document in Adobe Animate, work with the Library Panel, work with the Timeline, insert Frames, organize Layers in a Timeline, use the Properties Inspector, use the Tools Panel, undo steps in Animate, preview their Movie, modify the Content and Stage, save a Movie, and prepare a project. In Lesson 15, the students will be learning to create shapes in Animate, select Strokes and Fills, edit Shapes, change Strokes and Fills, Animate Drawing Modes, use Gradient and Bitmap Fills, Group Objects, use Variable-Width Strokes, create Transparencies, create and edit Text, match the Color of an existing Object, add hyperlinks, align and distribute Objects, convert and export Art, and about careers in Animation.
