Principles of Arts, Audio/Video Technology, and Communications

The students will work on Ch. 6 “Audio/Video Production”. In Lesson 20, the students will learn create a Premiere Pro Project file, set up a sequence, capture format settings, identify audio track types, examine tools for working with audio and video. In Lesson 21, the students will learn to import assets, use a tapeless workflow, find assets with the Media browser, import images, record a scratch narration track, and explore laws regarding the use of technology. In Lesson 22, the students will learn to explore the project panel, work with bins, use bins, and identify personal and professional qualities. In Lesson 23, the students will learn to use the source monitor, timecode information, safe margins, source monitor controls, adjust audio channels, navigate a timeline, create a sequence, use thumbnails to create a storyboard, split a clip, the Kuleshov effect, move clips, and extract and delete segments. In Lesson 24, the students will explore the use of transitions, add video transitions, and review a brief history of audio/video technology. In Lesson 25, the students will learn to work with text, learn to use Safe Title Margin, and create titles from scratch. In Lesson 26, the students will learn to share projects, exam export options, work with Adobe Media Encoder, configure the export, and learn to identify Teamwork and Leadership.
